Well...I've finally arrived. I sent my family off on a two day drive to Idaho this morning and I am relishing the PEACE and QUIET. I have a job interview on Friday morning and then I'll fly up on Friday night. Simon's competing in an Ironman race on Sunday. Let's see if this works!

Cool. The Iron Man competition. He's been training a long time for that hasn't he. How exciting. Is anymore family going up? I've never been to Idaho. Have you?
What type of job are you interviewing for and where?
I've never been to idaho. I was going to drive with them until yesterday and this interview came up. We thought it might be worth me staying and we had a free flight on southwest...Simon's parents are going, his brother and family, his aunt and uncle, and his cousin and wife as well as some good friends of his parents. His cousin is also competing. He has been training for a long time. Now he's nervous. It's a 5 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26 mile run...No way for me! I'm interviewing for an assistant principal position in Lake Elsinore, about 25 minutes north of here. Trying to make more money and get out of the classroom.
WOW, just thinking about all those miles makes me tired. I can't even imagine training for something like that. My boss just ran in the Boston Marathon and he trained hard for that. But it was just something like 22-27 miles, I can't remember exactly. I hope Simon does well, I'm sure he will! : )
The Assistant Principal position sounds like a good deal. I hope you get it. You would be great at that. 25 mins is closer than what you are driving now isn't it?
Good Luck!!!
